The Project Manager is accountable for the project budget schedule and quality to optimize profitability, meet and/or exceed customer requirements, and maintain and enhance customer relationships. This includes, but is not limited to:
Focusing on project scope, cost, and schedule, facilitating commercial optimization, managing customer relationships, and delivering the product on-time, on-budget, and on-quality
Balancing the interests of the company, the customer and industry to provide a first-in-class product and service
Acting as the focal point of contact between the customer and Sales and Estimating, Engineering, Drafting, Production, Quality Control and Quality Assurance, Procurement, Production, Shipping, and Invoicing
Identifying opportunities to optimize end-to-end business processes, and devise tools and strategies to do so
Requirements
Skill and Qualification Requirements:
University degree in Engineering preferred
Current Professional Project Management (PMP) designation is an asset
Minimum 10 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing or oil & gas environment
Facilitation, Negotiation, and conflict resolution skills internally and with customers/suppliers
Customer relationship management skills
Advanced computer skills Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project
Ability to learn new tools/processes including computer-based project tracking software
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
