Position Summary: This role will support key Trade Fund Management processes including: review of trade fund deployments to confirm required approvals, ensuring compliance with applicable policies; execute loading of funds to the trade funds systems; support of trade fund payments quarterly audit; execution of related internal controls; and coordination with various cross-functional teams (Sales and Finance). The successful candidate will be eager to have an immediate impact while demonstrating an analytical mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Support trade fund approvals process, ensuring they are in compliance with the Delegation of Authority, are complete and accurate in the trade fund management system, including loading and unloading of funds.
Manage retention of all trade fund deployment approvals,
Support enforcement of standard policies as it relates to trade fund deployment, trade approvals and trade management tool loading/unloading
Execute loading/unloading of funds in the trade funds management systems
Manage fund loading requests from cross-functional partners
Load and validate fund accrual rates in trade funds management systems
Load and validate lump sum funding deposits in trade funds management systems
Become Subject Matter Expert for systems supporting trade funds management process
Coordinate with various cross-functional teams, primarily Sales Trade Operations, to ensure completeness and accuracy in overall trade fund management process.
Execute internal compliance controls for areas of operation, including support of any necessary remediation plans.
Support quarterly audit of certain trade fund activities, including annual scoping, reporting, verification, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP. Partners with Sales Accounting team on process and results.
Requirements:
Years and Type of Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate setting
Desirable:
Prior experience with trade fund/promotion management a plus; prior experience with internal controls a plus
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work independently and across Teams
Strong planning and organizational skills with ability to independently prioritize
Strong attention to detail and data integrity with solid analytical skills
High proficiency in Excel, including strong ability with:
vlookups
Pivot Tables
managing large data sets
Proficiency in other MS Office applications (Outlook email/calendaring, Word, etc)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Desirable:
Exceedra and/or Alteryx knowledge
Understanding of accounting concepts
Understanding of internal controls
