The company is a leader of the railway industry offering one of the most comprehensive and flexible arrays of products in railway related markets, such as rolling stock, components, infrastructure, signalling and services (maintenance, refurbishing and financial services). Vehicles represents our name in Asia, Dubai, America and in lot of European countries.

We are present in Hungary since 1994 with our trains operating across the country. We participate in Hungarian urban public transportation with CAF trams since 2013 in Debrecen. The low floor CAF URBOS3 9-module trams are running since 2015 in Budapest, with its 55,9 meters length these trams are the longest in the world.

We are looking for an employee to join our maintenance team in our international subsidiaries.


Job functions and responsibilities:

Reporting to the Warranty Manager and / or Team Leaders.
Tasks will include:

  • Carrying out Preventative and Corrective Maintenance on all systems of the Rolling Stock
  • Carry out all necessary guarantee and maintenance on all of the trains equipment (regulate and adjust doors, pneumatic tests in brake and auxiliary equipment, tightness of circuits, cooling circuits, starting motors, bell system and rigidity, tests under voltage, tests in order to start equipment, tests with the coupled unity.).
  • Fault finding using Electrical & Mechanical schematics
  • Updating the Warranty Management System to reflect the status of tasks and record material movements.
  • Ensuring tasks carried out meet the quality requirements of the relevant Railway standards.
  • Being available to work shift patterns.


Required profile:

Education

A relevant qualification, (Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical/Electro-mechanical/Electrical) or a relevant Trade Qualification.

Experience
Min. 1 year experience in a similar or relevant position. Experience in multi-disciplines would be beneficial.

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

  • A good working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, either within rail, aviation or similar operations.
  • The ability to read electrical and mechanical schematic drawings and have a good understanding of systems functionality.
  • The ability to interact and work in both a team and autonomous environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Previous electrical or mechanical fault finding experience.
  • Experience conducting preventative and corrective maintenance in a similar environment.
  • English - conversational level
  • Driving license considered as advantage
