We ARE Infotech is looking for a Project Risk Manager to join the team of one our clients in the energy industry.
As a Project Risk Manager onshore you support our large projects on land by identifying and managing the project risks. Within the company's project risk management framework you implement, develop, manage and where possible improve the existing project risk management system and the associated tools for large projects, in close collaboration with the project teams.
In addition, you ensure risk awareness within the project and provide the project teams with reports regarding these risks.
What are you going to do?
• You organize and facilitate periodic risk sessions and evaluate and analyze the resulting risks. You assess the quantified financial and time-related impact of these risks and assist the project team in prioritizing different risk management strategies;
• You monitor and analyze the status of risks and the progress of measures and advise the project management on possible follow-up actions. You have a supporting and advisory role towards the project leaders when making important choices;
• You are responsible for setting up and maintaining risk management processes, policies and procedures within the project, including coordination with involved partners;
• You make the connections between the strategic, departmental and project risks and provide input for the reporting and analysis of risks at the company's project portfolio level;
• You actively participate in the activities and developments within BGD-RC-RM, consisting of the project risk managers of all onshore and offshore projects within the company. You contribute best practices and share knowledge of national and international developments in the field of project risk management within large infrastructure projects. In order to provide input for the further development of TenneT's project risk management policy, to implement improvements and to ensure uniform implementation thereof.
As a Risk Manager you are part of a cross-border Business Guidance team and you report hierarchically to the Lead Project Risk Management and functionally to the Financial Project Lead of the project in question.
Your Profile and background:
• You have a completed HBO education in business administration, economics, industrial engineering or similar;
• You have several years of relevant work experience with a proven track record in risk management, preferably within large infrastructure projects;
• You have coordination skills, as well as expertise in communicating, reporting and presenting at different levels in the organization;
• You are proactive, a team player, an excellent networker and a living example for ownership, connections and courage;
• You form your own opinion and are open to the opinion of others; likewise you do not shy away from taking an independent position and you possess persuasiveness;
• You speak and write Dutch and English fluently, a good command of the German language is an advantage;
• You are willing to travel.
