Data Entry Clerk

We are actively looking for a diligent data entry clerk to type information into the database from paper documents format.
The excellent candidate is anyone who is computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Entering data into appropriate field
• Transferring data from paper formats
• Handling numerical data accurately
• Organise spreadsheets with large numbers
• Curating data directly from speech and interviews
• Updating databases with new information as it becomes available
• Correct and modify inaccurate files and records
• Typing data directly and accurately
• Complying with security backups and regular checks to ensure data is saved and stored properly

Requirements

• Accurate and precise attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills and been able to prioritise
• Assists team members when needed to accomplish team goals
• Fast and accurate typist
• Able to speak confidently, clearly, and professionally for voice recording data
• Highly organised multitasker who works well in a fast paced environment
• Knowledgeable of MS Packages
• Grade 12 preferred. Diploma in business, administration or similar field will be considered
