As a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst you will be responsible for providing QA governance and support for a portfolio of projects, enhancements, and support initiatives.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

The role involves both manual and automated testing, planning, and working closely with a team of Developers and other QAs to ensure the product is meeting all quality standards. As such you will be:

• Working within an Agile and/or Waterfall environment to identify any issues with product/testing requirements
  
• Assisting with preparation of all prescribed quality assurance artefacts including, but not limited to, master test strategy and plan, functional test plan, etc.
  
• Preparing and participating in Manual Testing as required
  
• Work with the leads to develop and maintain automated QA scripts for the whole technology stack
  
• Work with the leads to contribute to the CICD pipelines designs and implementation
  
• Conduct quality assurance defect tracking reports
  
• Participating and/or reviewing documentation and test results in all quality assurance test phases, such as requirements validation, unit, integration, functional, and regression testing
  
• Developing the test cases according to the master test plan
  
• Performing quality assurance testing and report issues as required
  
• Walking through test cases and the test plan with the project stakeholders
  

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  
• Previous experience and intimate knowledge of software quality tools (i.e. test case management, defect management). Experience with Jira and its family of tools preferred.
  
• Experience in developing test plans, writing test scripts, developing use cases, implementing manual testing, supervising test team activities, and assisting business users through User Acceptance Test processes.
  
• Knowledge of the quality assurance discipline, the defect life cycle management processes, and the software commonly used for test planning and defect tracking
  
• Experienced in languages like Javascript, Java, etc.
  
• Formal software testing training or certification.
