Requirements :

What it takes to succeed:

You will be responsible for leading the roll-out of new accounting systems and processes across the group, providing support to the Finance Director and to the CFO in developing the governance framework and introduction of efficient and effective financial processes to the rapidly growing business across different geographies as well as support in the month end closing process (and bring improvements to it over time with the use of systems and automation).

The preferred candidate will be experienced, able to adapt to change, and someone who enjoys working in a dynamic fast-paced environment. This role will suit someone with a strong work ethic, who is looking to make an immediate impact on an exciting growth-stage company.

In other words, you will:

  • Analyse and diagnose existing financial processes and propose improvements to improve governance, controls and efficiency in the finance function, across geographies
  • Lead and project manage the roll-out of financial systems and different ERP accounting modules across different companies and geographies
  • Support the integration of new acquisitions, unifying financial processes and reducing complexity of the group
  • Support the development of single chart of accounts and unified cost centres structures, for efficient management of the business
  • Constantly analyse available automation solutions available in the market and elaborate the business case to justify the implementation of new processes and systems
  • Support in the month-end financial close, proposing changes to improve efficiency and faster closing
  • Support audit process and suggesting how systems can facilitate faster and more efficient delivery of audit across the group


Your Story

We are looking for individuals with an analytical mindset and a vision for the future, as well as someone who has a strong presence in communication to develop partnerships within the group. Successful candidates should possess the below:

  • Accounting qualification with a strong academic record
  • Proven experience in accounting systems implementations at scale
  • Proven experience in rolling-out financial processes, governance and controls from scratch , focused on results
  • Able to demonstrate strong accounting, financial controls and financial processes knowledge and practical experience
  • Previous experience with US listed companies and relevant controls (such as SOX environment) is a strong plus
  • Sage ERP (and modules) experience preferred but not a requirement
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel with experience inc manipulating large datasets and modelling skills (pivot tables, filtering, lookups etc)
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills (both written and oral), preferably with commercial exposure in previous roles
  • Project management skills, to manage internal and external teams to drive implementation of systems and processes
  • Strong attention to detail, yet also showing ability to surface the key material issues
  • Proven self-starter with experience of being able to work independently, hands-on, focused on delivering outcomes and results, juggling and prioritising across workloads and consistently meeting deadlines
