***BASED IN CLARNO OREGON*** Manage the 34,009-acre Pine Creek Conservation Area. Housing Available. Work includes: project maintenance, habitat and wildlife monitoring, restoration, including contracts solicitation & management, budgeting, work planning, purchasing, and reporting. 60-80% field work, 20-40% office work, depending on season.

Requirements

Must have a strong natural resources background, ideally in wildlife, wildlife habitat, fish habitat, and/or land management; with a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources or closely related field AND three years experience in program management. KNowledge in operation and maintenance of buildings, fences, and other infrastructure; operation of equipment including UTV/ATVs, backhoe, skid steer, and other technical equipment. Must be comfortable working alone, at times, in an extremely remote desert environment. Strong ability to engage successfully with the public, neighboring landowners, agencies and organizations, skilled in technical writing, obtain a pesticide applicators license within 12 months, maintain work records, valid drivers license, and pass a drug test. Must be fully vaccinated and boosted for COIVD.
