Platform Architect

Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ Months

What the role needs:

• Strong Unix/Linux experience
• Help the customer architect, design, and implement an Oracle NMS solution that utilizes the best practices for the implementation of the product.
• Meet with the customer and be their trusted advisor
• Writing and reviewing designs with client.
• Configuring the NMS system per agreed to designs
• Demonstrated teamwork and customer focus with high standards of professional ethics.
• Background in power systems engineering or leading utility operations preferred.
• Experience in building and verifying an ADMS business case based upon engineering principles.
• Experience supporting and deploying production OT software.
• Outage management systems and associated system integrations.
• Distribution applications including Fault Location Isolation and Service Restoration (FLISR), Volt/VAR Control/Optimization VVC/VVO, and Unbalanced Load Flow.
• Experience with deploying distribution communications infrastructure to support SCADA and, DERMS, and ADMS.

Preferred Background:

• 5+ years of Consulting and Architecture Experience, preferably with Electrical Utilities
• 5+ years of experience guiding and mentoring resources
