Role: Systems Engineer

Technology / Domain: Backup, Storage, Cyber Vault, and Windows Administration

Experience Level: 4 to 6 years

Location: Cleveland, OH (Day one on-site, need to be on-site)

Duration: 1+ year

Client: Cleveland clinic

Visa : Any visa is fine

Required Skillsets:

Strong knowledge in DELL EMC - Data domain backup solution

Knowledge in Data Backup, Archival & Disaster Recovery

Experience in Dell EMC Power Protect Cyber Recovery Solution

Deep knowledge of the cyber recovery solution and its components

Strong understanding of Windows Server environment

Strong Understanding of virtualization on VMWare

Firmware upgrades and OS/ Security patch update for network switches and cyber vault appliance

Handling/ Setting/Configuring Servers.

Good to have skillset:

Good Understanding of AZURE

Good hands on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of Storage and backup environment.

Good understanding of HA and DRS environment.

Operational support with flexibility for 24x7 support

Activities:

Monitor the opening and closing of vault.

Make sure the schedule for vault is in sync.

Run recovery drills once every quarter and restore it back to the production site which will include building backup server and restoring data.

Reporting any suspicious activity on data domain security logs like login time, user, etc.

Report any hardware issue on the data domain, firewall, switch within the vault to Dell support and coordinate any support/hardware issues.

Run capacity planning report to understand the growth and make sure additional hardware is requested on time.

Provide suggestions to increase security by bringing in additional software/hardware
