Job Description

Experience: Minimum 10 years hands on experience

  • Hands on experience with installation and configuration of Dell and HP Servers Hardware, RAID configuration, Firmware upgrade
  • Extensive knowledge and hands on experience with Windows OS configuration, upgrade, & Windows Cluster configuration and troubleshooting
  • Very good understanding of McAfee Antivirus installation and troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot and Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for Windows Operating System (2012/2016/2019/2022) issues and, analyze problem areas, interpret operational needs and work on proactive problem management
  • Drive Automation initiative for servers provisioning, configuration, and decommissioning activities
  • Install and configure Windows OS on VMWare virtual machines, patching, troubleshooting, disaster recovery, Customize and maintain VMware Templates, AWS AMI Images, Server Hardening as per security standards
  • Must be well versed in VMWare (vSphere 6.x, ESXi and vCenter) and experience providing L3 support
  • Good understanding of Active Directory, Group policies and other SSO solutions
  • Microsoft (MS) Windows Cluster installation, configuration, troubleshooting & Maintenance
  • Hands on experience with planning and execution of Windows OS upgrade (In-place, Migration etc.)
  • Recommend compute optimization, capacity planning and Prepare monthly Server availability / performance reports
  • Develop business case to analyze the future growth and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Assist Patch management team to push and install the security patches and troubleshoot for patch installation failures and maintain the security compliance
  • Knowledge and working experience of PowerShell scripts
  • Good understanding of Backup and restore procedure
  • Prepare Standard Operating Procedure and update documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Handle weekly/monthly review meeting with Customer stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of ServiceNow Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management and Asset Management
  • Provide escalated support to L2 teams
  • Flexible to work in 24x7 shift based on the business requirements
