Job Description

Business Recruiter will work to increase the number of vendors (businesses) registered to provide services to Vocational Rehabilitation participants. They will also provide technical assistance to entities completing their registration.

Role of Business Recruiter
Business Recruiter (BR) will coordinate and engage with potential vendors that are willing to provide services to VR participants. Potential vendors may include medical providers, non-profits, and for-profit businesses.
BR will assist businesses in becoming a registered vendor with VR using the VR-Claims Payment System (VR-CPS). BR will establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with local VR offices and target businesses based on identified office needs. After relationship is established with local business, BR will assist in connecting the business with the local VR contact for ongoing communication. BR will complete training provided by VR to gain and exhibit a clear understanding of VR s vision and mission to ensure vendor compliance with State vendor standards.
BR will assist new registered businesses in navigating VR-CPS reports, authorizations and claiming for services provided. To effectively communicate the VR mission to vendors the BR must portray a professional and enthusiastic image of VR. BR will also be responsible to ensure proper documentation is provided by registered vendor and appropriate credentialing is reflected appropriately within VR-CPS.
BR will develop a working relationship with local community groups such as Chamber of Commerce to provide education regarding VR and opportunity for businesses to support the VR mission by offering services to VR participants.

Requirements
Bachelor s Degree is preferred but relevant work experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable
Recruiting or sales experience is ideal
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated experience with building and retaining partner and stakeholder relationships.
Experience in working with medical providers, non-profits or for-profit companies is strongly preferred.
Self-starter who can work independently
Excellent organization and customer service skills
Working Conditions
Business recruiters will travel around the State to represent VR in building relationships with potential businesses of all sizes that can meet the need to ensure adequate, qualified service providers are registered with VR to provide services for VR participants. Recruiters will have the opportunity to work remote as schedule permits, however there is an expectation that in-person meetings and interactions will occur regularly as applicable to meet business and VR needs.
Mileage will be reimbursed at the current State Mileage rate.
