User Experience Researcher (Sport Betting)

About Company: Our client is a leading Sport Betting Company in Lagos, Nigeria.

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking to hire a user Experience Researcher who will Plan and carry out user research studies using mixed methods, including methods such as online surveys, user interviews over the phone, contextual inquiries, focus groups, etc. Review, analyze, and report qualitative and quantitative data to deliver actionable insights to the product and design teams.

The ideal candidate for this role should have proven experience with design software and wireframe tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out all aspect of user research studies: online surveys, user interviews over the phone, contextual inquiries, focus groups, etc.

Understanding user needs, business requirements, and technical capabilities and translating them into innovative product solutions.

Collaborating with designers and stakeholders to understand research needs

Defining research questions and selecting appropriate methods of data collection

Developing budgets and timelines for research projects

Recruiting participants for research studies

Conducting design research studies and analyzing the data collected

Transforming your findings into easily understandable insights

Presenting your findings to designers, developers, and other stakeholders

Requirements

HND/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, Design, Information, Anthropology, Statistic or equivalent

Professional Qualification Other Professional Qualification is an added advantage Experience and Skills Required

2year+ Experience with Quantitative research methods

Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)

Ability to translate product team requests and needs into researchable questions in a rigorous and valid way.

Good organizational, planning, data collection and analytical skills.

Passion for understanding user behaviors on mobile applications.

Fluency in English and local languages.

Familiarity with smartphones.

Must own a smartphone.

Proficiency in computer applications and excellent knowledge of Microsoft office.

Broad knowledge of sports betting and casino games.

A base pay of N250,000 monthly
