Assists in the deployment and validation of network devices. Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help configure network devices. Requires a bachelor's degree or networking certificates and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with network protocols BGP, ISIS, OSPF, TCP/IP. Will perform a variety of networking tasks using proprietary software to configure, validate and deploy network devices. Works under general supervision and typically reports to a supervisor.
Must have a networking background.
Day to day tasks will be to configure network devices and at times some troubleshooting will be required.
