About the Company

Our client is a mining and data center operation host, backed by New York-based private investment firm YZY Capital. Their data center is in Muskogee, Oklahoma, with a data center designed to contain Bitcoin mining machinery ( miners ) operating 24/7 at maximum electric capacity. The company will be responsible for ensuring operational success at each data center, including routine maintenance of machinery and infrastructure, maximizing run-time of Bitcoin miners, and solving any challenges related to business continuity.

Their ideal candidate is looking to bring their project management and engineering experience from high-caliber business environments to establish and run operations at a fast-growing cryptocurrency industry. In addition to managing day-to-day tasks associated with the 50 MW Oktaha Data Center, this role will drive operational expansion as electric capacity increases over the next 18 24 months.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead whole operation and maintenance team of 10 15 people to ensure proper functioning of all machinery;
  
• Define reasonable personnel allocation and oversee fulfillment of day-to-day operational needs;
  
• Work with accounting team to manage all finance work across the Data Center, including budgeting, resource allocation, accounts receivable / accounts payable tracking and overseeing audits;
  
• Coordinate and deal with issues with lawyer firms;
  
• Build up different organization and structure of several companies;
  
• Develop recruiting and other local service s channels;
  
• Implement various Data Center expansion initiatives; tasks may include but are not limited to industry research, design ideation, infrastructure planning and construction administration;
  
• Submit weekly reports on key performance indicators to the director/shareholder;
  
• Seek out answers to complex operational questions by leveraging internal and external resources, as well as synthesize and communicate findings to internal stakeholders;
  
• Sourcing suppliers and contractors. Should be responsible for leading and participating in the bidding negotiation and process and ensure the progress of bidding and the quality of bidders
  
• Coordinate with project managers and other group numbers to make sure everything and process meets our requirement, which includes but not limited in confirming the scope of project implementation, cost control and risk control.
  

Requirements

Profile Requirements

• Electrical Engineering degree or relevant management and work experience is preferred;
  
• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, laws or Economics preferred;
  
• 5+ years of experience in relevant management;
  
• Highly organized and can successfully manage multiple work streams across different initiatives;
  
• Proactive and self-motivated to solve problems;
  
• Comfortable with a high degree of responsibility and ambiguity;
  
• Strong quantitative and verbal skills with high attention to detail;
  
• Excellent communicator with the ability to explain processes, logic, and decisions;
  
• Native proficiency in Chinese preferred;
  
• Owns U.S. Permanent Residence Card or long time work permit visa is preferred;
  
• Plan stay at USA for living;
  
• Can accept overtime work or jet lag working time.
