Gotcha Security is looking for a talented individual to install and to service security systems such as surveillance cameras, access control, burglar, and fire alarms. The positions and qualification are listed below.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:


Security Installation Technicians 1+ years experience - $18.00 - $25.00

Security/Fire Alarm Technician 5+ years experience - $20.00 - $35.00

Lead Security Technician/Manager 5+ years experience (requires programing & networking skills) $35.00 and up.



Requirements

WHAT WILL YOU DO?


Install wire for products such as cameras, access control and fire alarm according to plans

  • Install items such as conduit, poles, and enclosures to support system infrastructure
  • Install security products such as fire alarm devices, smoke detectors, cameras, recorders, card readers, door locks, control panels, networking equipment

Troubleshoot and test all installed/serviced equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with customers requirements


Daily tasks may include:

  • Install devices such as door locks, cameras, smoke detectors
  • Pull wire, trench, install conduit, install poles
  • Maintain truck stock
  • Communicate with client and project manager
  • Lead other technicians (Service Tech)

WHAT DO WE REQUIRE?


Skills & Knowledge!


  • Working knowledge of construction principles
  • Reading, following, and applying logical information from schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, instruction manuals, operator guides, work orders, SOP s and safety rules
  • Communicate effectively with customers and educate them on newly installed equipment as well as job status completion (service or installation)
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Basic computer skills using a laptop with ability to checke-mailsusing Gmail and effectivelymanage timecards using T-Sheets
  • Ability to submit daily time & notes using companies ticketing system- Must know how to use a cell phone including making calls, sending texts, using apps and taking photos.

  • Must have 3 years clean driving record and valid driver s license
  • Must be about to maintain vehicle maintenance and cleanliness
  • Maintains control and safeguards all company or customer property or information of which employee has been entrusted
  • Must be willing to work in variousweatherconditions (Working environment may be subject to high or low temperatures, confined spaces, dust/dirt, heights, standing, bending and crawling)
  • Ability to work Monday Friday 8:00AM 6:00PM (typical days are 8 hours but start and stop times may change based on project/call). Saturday and evening work is rare but may be needed occasionally.
  • Adapts well to hanging work schedules
  • Must be a team player all hands-on deck when needed
  • Must be willing to take on new challenges and support a growing operation
