(Senior) Computer Vision Engineer

Tasks

We are looking for a passionate (Senior) Computer Vision Engineer with experience in Deep Learning and Computer Vision to join our team in Munich.

As a (Senior) Computer Vision Engineer you will shape the strategy, design and implementation of modern Computer Vision based applications with the overarching goal of taking the construction site to the next level.

Your responsibilities:

• You will work on cloud-native data processing pipelines to develop both data-driven and classical CV solutions, ranging from architecture design to solution deployment to production pipelines.
• You will develop efficient algorithms, data structures, as well as cover for the whole lifecycle of our data-driven services: Preparing data, training, publishing, deploying, monitoring and continuous maintenance.
• You will be involved in the research and prototyping of state-of-the-art methods in the field of Computer Vision.

Requirements

Your profile:

• Education in Mathematics, Physics, Computer/Data Science, Computer Vision or a similar background.
• 3+ years of production experience with data-driven (DL) methods in CV, such as Classification, Detection, Tracking, and Segmentation.
• Extensive experience with modern machine learning frameworks, such as Pytorch, Tensorflow, etc.
• Knowledge of MLOps practices and experience with MLOps-oriented tools: experiment tracking (MLFlow), dataset versioning (DVC), model deployment (Kubeflow), etc.
• Excellent modern Python programming skills.
• Ability to prioritize research directions and present respective results in a coherent and concise manner.
• Fluent and articulate English.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, MS Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience with container orchestration technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.
• Knowledge of GNU/Linux systems, including their administration.
• Publications on the development and applications of various ML/DL methods in the field of CV.
