Position: Senior IDMS Database Administrator
Miami, FL 33173
Duration: 6 months / Hybrid
Minimum Qualifications
- Senior level knowledge of CA-IDMS Database Administration (data administration includes installing and upgrading dbms software; database security, backup and recovery, database performance monitoring and tuning, resizing and restructuring database, SYSGEN).
- Senior level Knowledge of CA-IDMS application methods and tools is required (application development onclides JCL, TSO/SPF, COBOL, IBM utilities, ADSO, DMLO, IDMS database, navigation using CALC, VIA records and indexes).
- Experience of CA-IDMS database restructures and resizes from the application development side.
- Knowledge and experience in all of the following RACF, VTAM, RMM, SMP/E, CA-Disk, CICS, SQL ODBC.
Minimum Education & Experience Required
- Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in IDMS, including installation, paching, troubleshooting, database installs and restructures, database backup/restore.
- Minimum of five (5) years of advanced programming and/or system maintenance and problem determination experience
