Roles and Responsibilities:
Design embedded circuits according to the requirements or product plan
Schematic design, component selection and board layout keeping in mind the applicable design and
time constraints
Programming of controllers and interface/ drivers
Testing and debugging at Hardware and Firmware level
Integrating the complete system to bring it from a lab prototype to product deployment
Required Expertise:
Hands on experience working with IoT devices
Ability to refer IC datasheet to design circuit according to the recommendations
Hands on experience in PCB hardware design (Analog / Digital / Mixed signal circuit design) using 8-
bit, 16-bit or 32-bit micro controllers (ESP32, AVR, ARM CORTEX-MX, TI, ST, NXP etc)
Prior experience of designing 2/4-layer boards, footprint design and library creation in any EDA tool
(KiCAD/ Eagle/ Altium, etc.)
Interface sensors/ peripherals with I2C, SPI, UART protocols.
Experience working with instruments such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeter, etc.
Experience working with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular, GPS, Sensor network such as NRF24, Zigbee etc.
and infrastructure protocols like MQTT, AMQP, HTTP Rest API's, OMA, LWM2M etc.
Knowledge of applicable compliance and standards for IoT Products
Ability to learn fast and getting things done in a Start-up environment
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and carry out effective communication.
