Technical Project Manager

We re looking for an experienced, ambitious and driven Project Manager to lead and manage the on-boarding and technical integration process of new clients. The opportunity

Your main responsibility will be to manage the smooth implementation process for and with new clients and their associated stakeholders/ vendors, to ensure they are operational in the shortest possible time in collaboration with our Technical Implementation Manager. You will lead the client onboarding from kick-off, through to go live, maintaining visibility on the client until the client is onboard the Pargo ship, sailing smoothly and feeling hugged. You will be working closely with the sales, engineering, operations and the marketing team as well as with the technical implementation manager and the client to ensure Pargo delivers upon the clients need as agreed.

Your responsibilities:

This role will see you coordinating Pargos onboarding processes with the various client teams and stakeholders. You will work with the Technical Implementation Manager to define and manage all client specific requirements. You will develop and deliver upon client onboarding project plans accordingly and related to Pargos various offerings:

• Ensure we deliver what we sell, and sell what we are capable of delivering, efficiently and effectively

• Ensure clients are aware of the base requirements to complete integration and onboarding successfully and support them in fulfilling these requirements

• Work with clients to understand their business processes and requirements to best deliver a suitable integration and onboarding solution

• Coordinate successful client implementations, meeting or exceeding delivery timelines

• Coordinate and prioritise project tasks, manage timelines, maintain project plans and communicates status to clients, project sponsors and senior management

• Maintain transparent communications regarding project status, potential risks, constraints etc

• Work with internal and client tech teams to implement solutions effectively and on time

• Facilitate technical integration discussions in pre-sales product demonstration alongside our Technical Implementation Manager

Requirements

Someone who is aligned to our values and approach and:

• At least 3 years experience as a project manager ideally within a start-up or high growth company

• Demonstrated knowledge of technical integrations (APIs and plugins should not frighten you)

• A go-getter who is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment

• Ability to confidently represent Pargo in client facing engagements with senior execs, including technical senior execs

• Experience working with and motivating a diverse range of stakeholders across all walks of life and functional areas, to get results

• Structured thinker with a solution orientated mindset

• Team player and natural collaborator willing to step in to assist on project tasks if / when required

• Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritising activities across these to ensuring optimised delivery

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field or project management certification required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (ability to listen)

• Based in Cape Town and can be in our office in Zonnebloem at least 2 days a week
