As theCommercial Account Executiveyou will be responsible for an assigned geography to grow revenue and enhance competitive position within market through development and implementation of sales initiatives consistent with priority customer segments and overall corporate strategy. This position will be responsible for hunting and landing new B2B accounts and distribution channel partners. In addition, the Commercial Account Executive will be responsible for maintaining assigned named accounts working to maximize the full potential of these customer relationships. This role will report to the SVP of Sales and Business Development - US.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategies to ensure revenue growth for priority customer segments that include: mission critical commercial operations utilizing backup, stationary diesel powered generators (e.g. telecom, colocation / datacenters, financial service providers, etc.) and on-road and off-road commercial transportation fleets utilizing heavy-duty diesel engines (e.g. cargo fleets, mining, locomotive, etc.)
- Establish and maintain sufficient sales pipeline to meet or exceed on target sales.
- Utilize company CRM system as central repository for all customer information, sales opportunities and sales activities.
- Conduct remote lead generation (cold call and social selling outreach) and prospecting activities to identify new B2B customer opportunities.
- Following defined sales process, nurture assigned sales opportunities to successful close. This may include formal quotation, proposal generation or response to RFQ or RFP.
- Engage with other internal stakeholders along the sales process to fully inform prospects of the value associated with products and services. This may include technical sales, marketing, sales and company leadership.
- Manage existing assigned customer relationships to increase utilization of products and growing revenue by driving net new opportunities.

- Completed four-year University or College Degree (Business focus preferred)
- 6+ yearsdemonstrated and verifiable success developing/generating new business in a B2B commercial sales environment.
- Adeptness and prior demonstrated cold calling, prospecting and closing sales
- CRM practitioner in at least one major CRM application (Salesforce, Sales Cloud, Hubspot, MS Dynamics etc.).
- Conversant with MS Excel for evaluating customer deals and MS Word for building customer quotes and proposals.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn as a lead generation and prospecting tool.
- Familiarity with online conference tools such as Zoom, Webex, MS Teams, etc. for conducting prospect meetings and remote sales presentations.
