Business Analysis Manager

Ground Control has recently entered an exciting period embarking on a journey to grow the business to twice its current size, in 5 years. Producing accurate insights to leverage operational efficiency and improvement is a core strategic objective within these plans, so a heightened dependency now exists on accurate, high-quality data to deliver insights for continuous improvement. Ground Control s data analysis and control must help underpin successful delivery of the growth strategy.

The Business Analysis Manager will be integral to delivering Ground Control s data strategy. The role will work specifically to partner our operational businesses collaborating with operational staff to build, understand and use accurate, relevant and powerful insights. Through insights, meaningful action plans will deliver performance improvement aligning to the Critical Success Factors within each Business Strategy. Therefore, the role is crucial to drive a data led approach enabling faster decision making towards success.

Who we re seeking;

You'll currently be a Data Analysis expert, with experience managing a small team of people and taking a lead in optimising business process and transforming operational and financial data into insights for action.

You're preferred style of working will be to collaborate across business areas, to achieve the best possible business outcomes.

With a strong knowledge of SQL, Power BI ad Tablot as well as utilisation of other data tools.

What you'll achieve :

As the Business Analysis Partner you will assist Ground Control s growth agenda by bringing data to life through easy to understand visualisations, and through data ownership, improving data quality, manipulation and analysis of complex data sets.

This new role is vital given its wide cross-cutting influence and involvement with all parts of the business.

Your specific responsibilities in line with the strategic priorities will be:

• Data analysis of operational and financial performance, aligned with business process.

• Ground Maintenance Field Team Scheduling: covering scheduling for 40,000 sites and 500 Field Teams, the Business Analysis Partner will lead the development and management of the practices and processes to ensure that schedules are produced and aligned to capacity and skill set.

• Process Optimisation: An in depth knowledge of all related business process and the supporting data will be critical for success therefore the Business Analysis Partner will continually review business process to ensure optimisation.

• Data Ownership and Gap Analysis: Assume data ownership alongside the business unit s virtual roles of Champion, Owners and Stewards.

• Business Unit Relationships: Work alongside the senior management of the business unit(s) assigned and created positive working relationships.

• Management Reporting: Required to prepare reports for both internal and external audiences. End of month performance reports, submitted to the Data Strategy and BPO Director, will provide the Board and Exco Team with appropriate understanding of prior action progress, new issue identification and the associated remediation solutions and successes through evidence KPI Improvement.
