DESCRIPTION and RESPONSIBILITIES

SAS is seeking a full time SAS Senior Quality Assurance developer to work with our SAS Professional Servcies project team.

QUALIFICATIONS ESSENTIAL

A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business

Administration, or a related field is required and equivalent work experience required.

Minimum of 6+ years' experience of SASSQL programming experience.

SAS VA

SAS Viya

SASStudio

Skillset:

SAS Base Programming

SQL

Excellent Communication Skills

Detailed Oriented

Curious - asks clarifying questions

Works well on a team, and also works independently with minimal guidance once fully onboarded to a project.

Preference:

Knowledgeable on ETL processing

Testing Experience - Test Planning/Test Case Development/Documentation

SAS 9.4 Base Programmer Certification

Linux

Be proficient in Base SAS programming (DATA step), SQL programming (i.e., use of SQL pass-through or PROC SQL), as well as the SAS Macro language for use in making code more efficient

MAJOR RESPONSIBILTIES/ACTIVITIES:

Review requirements, design, and testing documentation

Follows a formal QA process

Develop test case specifications, conduct tests, document test results, and place test documentation in the appropriate repository

Verify that software solution conform to specifications

Document and manage issues and defects

Track and re-test problems

Review code and write independent validation code
