This is a brand new and exclusive opportunity at TPF Recruitment for a Tax and Trust Manager to join a highly reputable firm of chartered accountants in North Kent. You will work in an established tax team, where you will have the opportunity to lead on the businesses trust offering to their clients. Within the IHT offering, you will have a chance to advise on other areas of IHT planning such as estates, wills and probate, subject to your experience and interests. Equally, our client is willing to provide training and support both on the job, and academically should you wish to study for a professional qualification (STEP etc).
You will be offered lots of autonomy, and work closely with the Partners, supporting them with ad hoc advisory work as and when it arises.
Our clients is a really lovely firm who have a very good staff retention rate, a great client base, and a flexible working environment with an early finish on a Friday! They are open to both full time and part-time applicants, and will look to build the position around the candidates experience and aspirations.
Requirements
- You will be qualified or studying towards ATT, CTA, ACA, or ACCA
- You will have experience within trust accounts and tax returns
- Experience of IHT planning across estates, wills or probate, would be advantageous

You may be an AAT qualified technician, or you may have developed your career through experience to date only and be looking to build further on this, in a hands on role. Most importantly, as a key requirement to be considered for this role and firm, you will have developed experience across any of bookkeeping, preparing vat returns, CIS, payroll etc within an accountancy practice firm of any size, as a Bookkeeper. You will ideally have at least three years experience, developed across any of these areas, within an accounting firm / accountancy practice environment, as a key requirement. Part-time, 3 days a week working arrangements.
