Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to be responsible for conducting and supporting the Quality Systems through implementation, training and regular inspections while maintaining ISO 17025, CAP and any needed accreditations.

Our client performs fast and reliable laboratory testing and diagnostics for many private and public stakeholders.

• Lead the process for acquiring and maintaining ISO 17025 and any additional laboratory accreditations that may be required.
  
  
• Continuously perform the maintenance, support, and any needed improvements of the Quality Systems.
  
  
• Help integrate into a Laboratory Information Management System and Document Control System.
  
  
• Create, maintain, and review the SOPs, laboratory records and related forms and documents.
  
  
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility and recordkeeping; coordinate corrective actions and preventive measures; summarize and report findings.
  
  
• Conduct training sessions as relates to Quality Assurance and regulatory compliance and collaborate with team members during regulatory audits.
  
  
• Monitor processes and systems with respect to the Personal Health Information Act (PHIA) and company/client privacy policies.
  

Requirements

• Quality Assurance or similar field, with a proven track record in accreditation process for ISO 17025 (5+ years).
  
  
• Diploma/degree in science, business, project management or experience in related field.
  
  
• Skilled using data management systems and document control software (Viva).
  
  
• Experience working with laboratory information management systems (LabWare).
  
  
• Must maintain confidentiality with all private information (PHIA/privacy policies).
