Job Description

Our client is a global business, servicing customers and selling drilling consumables for applications in underground and surface mining, geotechnical and well drilling. They are seeking a Drill Bit Sharpener / Rock Tool Technician to work at their Kalgoorlie location, on a three month contract with an opportunity for temp to permanent employment - Monday to Friday, 8-10 hour shifts, and on the job training is provided.



Duties include:

  • Sharpening drill bits
  • Collecting and distributing drill bits
  • Ordering stock
  • General duties as required



Requirements


  • Previous experience highly regarded
  • Underground hard rock mining experience highly regarded
  • Manual drivers licence
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and functional assessment including an Instant Drug and Alcohol Test
  • COVID vaccinated
  • National Police Clearance
