Job Description

  • Identify target companies / markets by researching the country and industry landscape.
  • To locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering, and exploring opportunities
  • To screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities
  • Developing Techno/Commercial proposals, road maps, Approach Paper and other business development pitch documents based on inputs from SMEs
  • To organize and manage Events, Webinars, and Conferences etc
  • Develop and manage pipelines and leads
  • Develop negotiating strategies
  • To gather client requirementsboth explicit (stated) and implicit (learn through rapport building)
  • Close deals s by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • To protect organizations value by always keeping information confidential


Requirements

  • Experience in Business Development (BD)
  • Experience of working in the consulting or service industry would be an added advantage.
  • The primary responsibility of the candidate is to lead Business Development activities in APAC region (other regions will also be added based on performance)
  • The candidate is expected to collaboratively develop BD strategy against annual sales target and accordingly create the Sales & Marketing plant including plan for digital marketing.

PROFILE/PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
  • 1 -3 years of experience in Business Development, especially selling large ticket products/services
  • Knowledge of Marketing & Digital Marketingwill be appreciated.
  • Preferred Candidates who are based in Mumbai & Maharashtra
  • Candidate with Engineering background (preferred)
  • Candidate with MBA degree is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions
  • Ability to develop customer relationships quickly
  • Willingness to work on a target and Results oriented environment
  • Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written)
  • Great presentation skills
  • Experience managing budgets and maximizing their effectiveness
  • Highly motivated, quick-learner and a Self-starter
  • Candidates should be open to traveling as this position involves travelling to customer/ client premises.


KNOWLEDGE ON BD/MARKETING TOOLS & PLATFORMS:

The candidate should possess knowledge of the below tools:

  • Digital Marketing - basic understanding is fine
  • Social media platforms especially knowledge of LinkedIn is a must
  • CRMs should have knowledge on working on any CRM
  • MS Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneDrive
  • Image/Video editing tools like Canva basic understanding is fine.
  • Virtual meeting platforms such as MS Teams, Google Meet, WebEx (experience working on any one is fine)
  • Email marketing Experience in running email marketing campaigns individual & bulk
