What does KLAR do?

Klar is a Mexican fintech startup whose mission is to democratize and revolutionize the way in which financial services have been delivered so far in Mexico, especially since half of the population doesn t have a bank account. We have had more than 1 million users since 2021!

We are changing this scenario by offering a tech product that allows users to manage their money through a mobile and web application. Users can withdraw or deposit money from any cash machine, they can also use the card in stores and even do online payments. We don t have any branches, everything is done and managed through the app.

Our product roadmap includes offering loans and credit for a larger group of clients based on our very sophisticated credit modeling.

Life at Klar

We have a very international team with more than 30 nationalities working from Mexico City, Berlin, and remotely. Our founder Stefan Moller is also half German and Mexican, which allowed Klar to think globally since its inception.

This position is to be performed onsite in our Berlin office.

Who are we looking for?

We're currently looking for a Senior Brand Designer. In our Design team at Klar you will support all branding efforts throughout the whole company. Klar s brand designers will be responsible for developing a visual language that communicates Klar s values in a clear and inspiring way to an emerging market audience.

Your daily adventures will be

• Collaboration: with the design team as well as with internal and external stakeholders like the marketing team, the product team and agencies, freelancers and studios
• Strengthen brand identity: refine and extend Klar s visual language that reflects its technological leadership and effect on people's daily lives
• Developing the visual language: Learning about the financial challenges people experience in LATAM countries, understanding how technology can create critical value in this field and designing a communication that helps to create trust in the audience we serve.

What you bring to the table

• 2-3 years of experience working as a senior designer in a team with close collaboration
• Ideally some experience working in a start-up environment

Technical skills:

• Strong knowledge in Layout, Composition, Color and Typography.
• Good methodical understanding about design processes.
• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and basic level experience in Figma.
• Understanding of processes and tools in a tech Setup.
• Illustration, motion and 3D skills are a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Proactive, hands-on working attitude.
• Collaborative work processes and techniques.
• Good level of project organization and methodical workflow.
• At the cutting edge of developments within the design space.
• Respectful and open-minded approach to feedback.
