Associate - Claims

• Accountable for evaluating and paying hospitalization claims for both inpatients and outpatients.
  
• Responsible for reviewing and paying instances that go beyond their authority.
  
• Meet the benchmarks for quality, turnaround time, and productivity for the department and each individual.
  
• Ensure that all special account policies are addressed and dealt with within the specified time frame.
  
• Maintain close communication with a 24-hour call centre and make sure emails are promptly answered.
  
• Provide support to other team members as needed.
  
• Assist with regular administration work as well as any unique assignments.
  
• Attempt to comprehend the rationale with facts for better claims evaluation.
  

Requirements

• A minimum degree in Bioscience, Medical Science, Nursing or any related field of study.
  
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
  
• At least 2 years working experience as Claims Assessor in Insurance Industry, fresh graduate are encouraged to apply
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Powerpoint).
  
• Self-driven and customer orientated.
  
• Rational Problem solving.
  
• Time management skills.
  
• Capable to commit long working hour including weekend and public holiday.
