Python Software Engineer (gn)

Your mission

As a Python software engineer at Wandelbots, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our Wandelbots Platform. Our Wandelbots Platform enables and educates developers around the world to interact with robots in a simple, intuitive, and efficient way, driving robot mass adoption. Furthermore, you are working on the development of a standardized robot programming language, which will enable developers without robotics experience to solve automation problems.

On a daily basis and as a member of a community of practice you will:

• discuss and implement the interfaces with which we provide value to external customers.
• contribute your knowledge and experience to build high-quality software products and SDKs.
• maintain the build system and CI pipelines.
• dedicate 10% of your time to learning and teaching.

Your profile

• You have several years of experience building software with Python.
• You are experienced in automated software testing.
• You understand the concepts used in modularized and multi-layer software, and you have used technologies for communication between software components.
• You are confident in the use of software design patterns and are able to communicate about them.
• You enjoy learning and are able to share knowledge with your colleagues.
