3D Artist

The Childs Dreyfus Group provides professional interior design services for projects throughoutthe United States, Europe and the Caribbean. With an emphasis on mixed-use, multifamily, student housing, hospitality and high-rise developments, CDG has created sophisticated interiors that focus on connectinglocal culture and the needs of each demographic.

Tasks

CDG is looking for multi-talented artists to help us create assets for our company. The types of assets include 2D assets, 3D assets, illustrations, VFX, and animation. If you re good at creating any of these assets, read on.

The Artist must be able to

1. Communicate with the lead artist to understand the project scope, requirement, and timeline
2. Create assets and reach the quality bar within certain iterations/Deliver assets that conform to required technical spec
3. Translate concept art of characters and environments into efficient and polished 3D models (for use in extended reality and game design)
4. Communicate updates and concerns with team members, both developers, and designers
5. Create detailed 3D assets using modeling, sculpting, and texturing skills.
6. Create unique designs within a production schedule.
7. Be willing to iterate to find the best solution and artistic direction possible.
8. Can match different artistic styles of a wide range of brands. Accenture works with hundreds of clients globally, from major entertainment industries to major academic institutions.
9. Be unafraid to experiment and try new things.
10. Stays on top of new software and is willing to conduct a product evaluation to recommend the best products for our ecosystem.
11. Mentors junior designers interested in growing as 3D artists.

Requirements

1+ years experience as a professional 3D modelerProven experience working closely with developers knowledge in skills such as modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, physics, and particle systems1+ year of experience with standard art packages such as Maya, ZBrush, Blender, Substance Painter, Photoshop, etc.1+ years of experience in translating concept art into polished 3D models Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred candidates must also have some interaction design background with knowledge of Figma and the Adobe Suite

Professional experience creating photorealistic set pieces, props, textures, and materials on next gen console platforms.

Have experience developing environments and top notch assets in Unreal EngineCan demonstrate a diverse and incredible portfolio with the best examples of realistic 3D interior and exterior environments and assetsMaster level experience creating clean and efficient models with proper UV layouts

Able to work independently to a high level of quality solving visual and technical challenges

Self-driven with strong communication skills and are comfortable working in an environment of honest feedback and iteration

Detail focused with an eye toward accuracy and consistency with the ability to build assets and scenes from physical samples or reference images

Expertise in hard surface modeling using Maya and Zbrush (or equivalent 3D programs)

Experienced with a standard PBR based realistic texture/material pipeline and toolsets (including Adobe Photoshop, Substance Painter and Designer)

Strong understanding and working knowledge of real world photography

A passion for interior and architectural design
