Senior Drainage Engineer Team Leader

Our client is a company that specialises in complete drainage and plumbing services to corporate clients managing domestic and small commercial drainage/plumbing failures. The company provides a quick and competitively priced response to their clients needs whether it be a simple blockage, a drain collapse, or a burst water pipe. Due to recent expansion, they currently have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Drainage Engineer / Team Leader located in the Norfolk area

The role:

My client is looking for a Senior Drainage Engineer working field service, alone and at times will provide support to 3 or 4 engineers within the required geographical locations. The types of work that you will undertake will include, but not be limited to rodding, high pressure water jetting, pipe lining, excavations, repairs, CCTV surveys and liaising with customers

There will also be an element of necessary paperwork with the job. Candidates must be flexible with working hours and locations as this role will include some call outs. The candidate must be confident with lone working. As well as supervising a small team when needed and teaching them knowledge you will be required to work on the tools on the larger jobs.

Key requirements:

Be able to demonstrate technical knowledge and competency with regards to drainage.

Hold a full driving license No more than 6 points for company insurance

Strong Technical knowledge especially in Patching and Lining

Be able to approach and resolve problems logically

Demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm for the task in hand

Must be flexible with working hours/travel

Have the ability to deal with customer effectively.

High pressure water jetting experience

CCTV Surveys experience - preferable

Repair experience Patching and Lining

On call is 1 week in 4 currently
