About the Role:
A unique and key role within NXG group, the Project Administrator will oversee our admin function, supervising and checking the work of our admin team members, whilst innovating improvements to general administration. This role will be the lead on Health & Safety, IT, Social media and Facilities matters.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and oversee the work of all members of the admin team
Quality checking all paperwork and rectifying any and all errors
Assist the Programmes Recruitment Officer in recruiting for our various programmes
Training colleagues on processes and general administration
Acting as the Health & Safety lead for the organisation which will include: dealing with any issues and breaches, training and updates in legal frameworks.
Acting as the Social media lead and managing all communications and accounts for the organisation to positive outcomes
Acting as the lead for IT & Facilities, making sure that all equipment is functional and maintained and office stock is replenished
Maintain high levels of quality assurance, including paper work audits and training new staff on paperwork procedures;
Lead on improvements in administrative processes including: development of future information systems;
Organise and facilitate a variety of educational or social activities.
Cover the duties other administrators and any other tasks delegated from management
Experience in the education and training sector
Experience in general administration
Strong interpersonal skills to help you relate to students, academic staff, teachers, senior managers and colleagues in other areas of education administration;
Excellent written communication skills;
Team working skills and the ability to work alone without supervision;
The ability to deal positively with change;
Experience in organising, prioritising and managing your time effectively;
IT skills in areas such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases and the internet as well as the use of social media;
A flexible approach to work.
Hands-on and willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various situations
