Python/Django Software Engineer

We design, build, program and deploy systems and solutions for RF spectrum monitoring, management and geolocation. We serve both defense and homeland security customers as well as the civilian regulatory market.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the development of high-quality application software, including but not limited to:

• Develop all aspects of the full software development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and training.
  
• Create functional designs, specifications and costings to be presented internally or to the customer for approval.
  
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
  
• Capable of working both in a team and independently.
  
• Attention to detail and a passion for producing high quality software with clean code.
  
• Experience of maintaining, extending and amending existing software as well as creating new applications.
  
• Able to create and maintain high-performance networked software
  
• Excellent attention to detail and willing to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  

Requirements

Essential:

• Experience with Python

  
  
• Experience with Django framework.
  
• Experience with Linux and shell scripting
  
• At least 3 years experience in a similar development role.
  
• Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker.
  
• Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Redis.
