IMPORTANT: THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION; CANDIDATES SHOULD BE LOCATED IN ALICANTE / MURCIA / VALENCIA area in Spain.

Blue Code is hiring a new Cloud Engineer for our tech-hub in Alicante. The project, related to Lead Quantification, calculates the true value of leads and integrates with marketing systems and collects disposition data across the full lifespan of a lead, analyzing true lead performance over time. Thanks to this, marketers know exactly what to bid to maximize returns with an up-to-date, detailed view of how each and every source is performing.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will report to the Director, DevOps and be part of cross-functional teams that enable site reliability engineering skills and capabilities across a whole domain. Being an enthusiast in SRE, with a strong DevSecOps mindset, and thanks to your excellent collaboration skills you will work with the teams to deliver the best answers to our customers needs and to take over full responsibility for its applications, from design to operation.

What you will do:
  • Use your deep technical skills to enable teams to deliver operation excellence, ensure and improve reliability, performance, maintainability of systems and services
  • Work closely with the teams to understand the operational processes, technical and business needs of the products and services teams are responsible for
  • Ensure observability of systems and services, support change and configuration management
  • Be involved in raising operational readiness requirements as part of the development life cycle and validate software development and delivery is consistent, meeting the specified requirements
  • Hunting for performance optimizations and recognize upcoming problems before our customers are impacted
  • Continuously improve CI/CD and automation maturity and efficiency
  • Support the teams with efficient incident handling and quick reaction to production


Requirements

What you have:
  • Experience working with highly available, distributed systems and services in a cloud environment and defining, developing and rolling out technical operations processes and new services across teams and market
  • Strong hands-on experience with Ms Azure and in managing scaled cloud systems with a focus on solution architecture, the various tools like Azure DevOps and services, infrastructure-as-code and DevSecOps practices
  • Strong experience with monitoring/observability solutions, preferably Datadog, as well as with incident response solutions, like PagerDuty and PTRG
  • Deep automation expertise, hands-on with some programming languages, e.g. PowerShell, Python and NodeJs
  • Good experience with CI/CD, preferably Jenkins and Azure DevOps
  • Operated a SaaS product in a public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure Preferred)
  • Familiar with Cloud Economics , the practice of understanding Cloud provider billing, pre-commits, and other cost saving measures
  • Used metrics systems (e.g. Elastic Stack, Graphite, Prometheus, Influx) effectively to diagnose issues and quantify impacts
  • Worked with containerized services
