Network Support Engineer

This is a remote position.

Our global client is an established leader within their niche, employing. circa 80 people across multiple continents and 30 within the UK.

The business specialises incross platform software development, building bespoke innovative products for gaming platforms such as eGaming and mobile gaming.

Due to year on growth my client is actively seeking experienced Network support Engineers to take ownership of supporting users around the UK to continue to develop my clients innovative bespoke applications.

Responsibilities:

• Prioritise and review support requests from clients users for accounts, connections, and devices
  
• Maintain accurate system records for all client user devices
  
• Plan and rollout monthly system updates and occasional OS upgrades
  
• Manage backup technologies
  
• Manage monitoring systems by performing daily health checks
  
• Assist clients to achieve device compliance with conditional access policies
  
• Drive improvements to the security on clients devices and data
  
• Plan IT support presentations for visits and conferences in the UK and adapt to client s level of support needed
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience with DELL Sonicwall (NSA range) firewalls
  
• Minimum 3 years experience with DELL Switches (S Series) or equivalent
  
• Minimum 3 years experience with Windows Server on VMWare ESX virtualisation
  
• Extensive knowledge of internet applications IP, Routing, DNS etc
  
• Network focused on Microsoft systems such as Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS
  
• Shift work 24/7/365 operation (on call allowance included in package)
