In this position, you will join our existing team of talented artists to create 2D art, including all game graphic assets, illustrations, animations and effects on a wide variety of games across our multiple brands within the company.
Being part of several art teams across the globe, you will be involved in the entire process of making the best experience for our players, ensuring that the game looks good and supports the gameplay in a way that is easy to understand
You will also recognise and develop game UX/UI skills as well as collaborate daily with other inspiring game creatives and learn the nuances of the slot/casino game aesthetic
You will work closely with different teams as part of the games development process including concept, development and QA and be able to collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues
This opportunity would ideally suit someone with commercial experience in a games studio, or someone within graphic design or animation (with an illustrative portfolio) looking to make the move into art
The role will suit someone with very good 2D drawing, good use of colour and excellent typography skills who is looking for an opportunity to join a highly collaborative team, and step into a creative studio environment as we continue to adapt, grow and evolve as a market leading games studio
Requirements
Key Skills / Essential Requirements:
Highly skilled, creating high quality 2D art and illustrations from scratch with the portfolio to match
Showcase excellent compositional skills alongside an ability to create eye-catching game designs
Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects or XD) expertise
Able to give, receive and act on constructive feedback
Ability to work in different styles and be willing to learn new ones
Desireable:
Animation skills (with Spine or After Effects)
3D experience (in Blender, Maya or similar)
Experience producing commercial games and apps
Traditional art skills
