In our Unit Machine Learning Engineering, we currently hire talents with Data Engineering and Cloud know-how who would like to develop not only PoCs but productive machine learning applications or platforms including automatic unit tests and end-to-end tests, automatic deployment pipelines, mechanisms for scaling in the cloud, monitoring solutions and operations support. We call this profile Machine Learning Engineer . Tasks:
Through your knowledge you are able the design innovative, technical approaches for the development, improvements, and implementation of large-scale data processing infrastructures and related development processes
You are responsible for the design and implementation of test, staging, and production environments (Cloud, Kubernetes, or On-Premises)
You atomate recurring tasks by state-of-the-art CI/CD pipelines, enabling your customers to significantly reduce their time to delivery
You take care of the necessary monitoring, failover, and recovery infrastructures that allow our customers to operate the delivered solutions with ease.
You take care of the necessary documentation to operate the delivered solutions
As part of the Reply network, you join communities of practice, participate in hackathons, and use all available learning resources
__What we offer you:
We are happy to see that you have a university degree in science or engineering or any related discipline. Related on-the-job training and multiple years of working experience are suitable as well.
Hands-on experience for at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) or experience with on-premises infrastructure or Kubernetes
You are familiar with common scripting languages (Python, Bash) as well as common configuration file formats (YAML, JSON) and their templating options
Knowledge about the Cloud-Native technology stack and its integration
Knowledge of networking concepts, infrastructure design and debugging options
Experience with the usage, design, and implementation of REST-APIs (e.g., FastAPI)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and frameworks like Terraform
Knowledge of CI/CD frameworks (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI) and the GitOps, nice to have GitSecOps concept.
Understanding of Linux, virtualization and container technologies and frameworks
Knowledge about databases, big data processing frameworks and data pipelines as well as a passion for data is a plus
Open mind to learn new technologies originating from different areas
Fluent German and English skills round out your profile
