We are looking for

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Backend Engineer (m/w/d), who desires to contribute to the growth and success of our Product Team.

You will be also responsible for implementing strategies, delegating tasks based on each member s strengths and skills, and overseeing the development of our Solution.

Your role in BizAway

• Develop and maintain our APIs
• Develop API integration with 3rd party services in the travel and payments sectors and various resources
• Design and develop new features and system architectures
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Set clear team goals
• Delegate tasks and set deadlines
• Oversee day-to-day development

Your basic qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Javascript server side (NodeJs)
• Eager to learn new technologies and frameworks
• Good understanding of Git and GitFlow
• Strong focus on best practices and design patterns
• Problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Decision-making skills
• Good knowledge of both spoken and written English (B2 level)

We are also interested in

• Previous experience in the travel industry
• Knowledge of Docker
• DevOps experience with AWS suite
