Job Title: Senior Level Java Backend Developer
Location : Fairfax, VA & Baltimore, MD
Duration : 6+ month contract
Position Description:
- Over 8-10+ years of experience in software design, development, implementation, and software engineering.
- Experience with Object-Oriented and Web-based Systems (WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, and Glassfish).
- Experience with Node.js and Postgres
- Experience writing Section 508 compliant code is a plus.
- Design, development, and analysis in OO fields (Java, JFC, and UML), internet applications (Application Servers, Web Servers, J2EE, internet programming, and architecture).
- Experience in Core Java programming, multi-threading, reflections, data structures, generics, and adhering to OOPS concepts.
- Experience and thorough knowledge of Struts Framework with Tiles, Spring, Servlets, JSP, EJB, JDBC, HTML, Java Beans, JavaScript, Ajax, and XML technologies.
- Designed, developed, and implemented Java Web Services using XML, SOAP, WSDL, and UDDI and used JAX-RPC Hibernate for developing Web services based on SOA.
- Experience in developing applications using different IDEs like Eclipse, WSAD.
- Proficient in Database development using different RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, and DB2) in various projects
