Job Description

Participate in multi-discipline project teams and provide all services of a life cycle management data center network engineer.
Leading and participating in Data Center and Network related projects.
Create engagement requests for various data center technician teams based on project requirements.
Perform network configuration changes and migrations using change management.
Create MOP and configuration network devices to enable complex network designs.
Interface with system administrator(s) and extended teams to enable connectivity as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.


The skills and experience that will help you succeed

Knowledge of footprint and power equipment Data Center
Strong experience in network protocols (TCP/IP, routing, switching, virtual networking, and UNIX systems)
Proficiency in core networking protocols BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP, VxLAN, EVPN, IP SEC, DNS, VPLS, GRE, L2TPv3, etc
Experience working in a enterprise class data center environment performing implementation, provisioning and code upgrades on Nexus switches (N9K, N7K, N5K)
Experience working in Network design and associated configuration management, configuration of ports and VLANS on Nexus 5K and 9K switches.
Expertise in the certification of equipment, MOPs/Network configurations.
Excellent development, implementation and configuration skills combined with a proven documentation methodology.
Experience working with TCP IP protocol suite, IP subnets and masking and routing protocols
Experience with EVPN with VXLAN Data Plane Encapsulation across MPLS network.
Experience with use of Data Center Inventory management tools.
Practice a strong sense of urgency with ability to multi-task
Excellent customer facing skills.
