The Position
As a DevOps Engineer Azure, you will work in a vibrant and international environment in which you have the opportunity to work with various technologies and diverse cultures. You will closely collaborate with other IT experts on our global digital transformation.
Focusing on Azure, you will not only be responsible for the security but also for building the orchestration layer of Azure. Besides being an individual contributor role, you will collaborate with our internal stakeholders across the businesses & technology teams and advise where necessary.
The successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate a passion for the technology and tools involved. Someone curious and keen to learn about innovative technologies and suggest how we can improve the service the team provides to our clients as well as to our internal stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
At least 3-5 years of experience on the Azure Cloud platform with hands-on experience in On-Prem Windows /Linux Operating systems.
Experience in ticketing tools and handling incidents, service, change requests, and other P1 tasks.
Experience in File servers/AD/Distributed File Systems/Group Policy Objects, managing security group permissions.
Managing production support issues and seeing through the resolution. (L2 level)
Experience with Windows Domain Controller & any virtualization (VMware, Citrix VDI).
Experience in installing or upgrading windows servers and various applications.
Troubleshooting system error logs and user-reported errors.
Experience with server builds/day-to-day service requests.
Install and configured various business products on the Windows Operating system.
Knowledge of replication and backup technologies (Commvault, Azure Site recovery).
Collaborate with the Cloud team and troubleshoot basic access issues and VM deployments in Azure.
PowerShell scripting (Preferable)
Knowledge of Azure Cloud and other cloud computing technologies.
Knowledge of Azure Monitoring
Knowledge in Cloud automation using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, or Azure Pipelines.
