Location: Fully Remote (Philadelphia, PA)

Duration: 6 Months contract

Job Summary

Looking for a Consultant/Contractor to join the Enterprise Procurement team to focus on Wireless Network Procurement. The Wireless Network category includes Core, RAN, and related support and maintenance. The role will work closely with engineering and operational stakeholders to ensure the success of Wireless strategy. This role reports to the Vice President, Enterprise Procurement. Candidates should possess technical category management experience, a commercial mindset, and negotiation skills. An understanding of wireless communications technology is preferred.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute Wireless category strategies, including comprehensive cost reduction opportunities, quality of service improvements, and innovation, focusing on Total Cost of Ownership
• Negotiate favorable commercial and contractual T&Cs
• Develop and strengthen vendor relationships
• Manage internal stakeholder relationships
• Build a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements, and priorities across assigned categories
• Understand changing market conditions and adapt strategy to meet business needs and mitigate risk

General Candidate Requirements

• Ability to deconstruct and solve complex business problems; analyze situations, develop strategies, present & persuade others of strategy, effectively & efficiently execute strategy
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with frequent communication touchpoints.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Visual analytic skills translate information & data analyses into audience appropriate presentations to recommend strategies and guide decision-making
• Experience interacting with and presenting to leadership and stakeholders at a variety of levels

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree, with 10+ years related experience
• Consulting experience, Master's degree, Telecom/Cable experience is a plus
• Highly proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint

Job Location: Philadelphia, PA or Remote

Position Comments: Must have experience working on SOW's and Services Procurement Contracts. Someone that has experience onboarding Professional Services contracts, working with hardware and software vendors. Candidates that have experience working on SOW's relating to Wireless Services, Construction Services, Wireless Network Site Equipment Acquisition is preferred.. Wireless knowledge is preferred.
