Under the leadership of the sector communications manager, the communications consultant will provide wide-ranging communications support to include:
- Creating, writing, and editing content for internal and external stakeholders (social media, newsletters, marketing collateral, videos, web content, success stories, press releases)
- Providing communications guidance and support to sector staff on delivery of communications materials
- Coordinating project tracking and maintaining documentation
Topics include: electric transportation, battery storage, microgrids, sustainability, electrification, and grid operations.
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of related experience and must demonstrate:
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Quickly translating complex concepts into impactful headlines and value statements.
- Keen eye for concepting and developing visually-oriented content including presentations, graphics, and infographics
- Delivery of communication work products within established timeframes and quality guidelines.
- Thriving in a high-performing team environment.
