Duties:

Provide tuning and optimization focused on maximizing the effectiveness of deployed NGFW security control.

Refinement of AppID, Vulnerability Protection, Threat Prevention, URL Filtering, Wildfire

Review and recommend configuration changes (Security Policy, Routing protocols, etc.)

Review collected and logged application and threat traffic data for anomalies.

Design and Implementation of automated WAN Failover for Core Routers

Create Security Policy to protect the environment by providing enhanced DNS sink-holing capabilities.

Finalize the App-ID and Threat Prevention policy to monitor and control the traffic based on our requirements.

Configure and implement

• SSL Forward Proxy
• SSL Inbound Inspection
• SSH Proxy
• Zone Protection Profile Applied to Applicable Zone(s)
• ACL Include List for User ID
• Flood Protection
• Reconnaissance Protection
• Packet-Based Attack Protection

Testing of Advanced Firewall Features

• Verify/Test application layer filtering as active and utilize the developed configuration
• Verify/Test URL filtering as active and utilize the developed configuration
• Verify/Test IPS configurations are working properly
• Verify/Test AV configurations are working properly
• Verify/Test APT configurations are working properly
• Verify/Test Anti-Spyware configurations are working properly
• Verify/Test Vulnerability configurations are working properly

Ongoing firewall and Panorama operational activities, including:

Review of PAN Best Practices Assessment (BPA) and Security Lifecycle Review (SLR) reporting
