Responsibilities
Execute Electrical characterization testing for high speed differential serdes TX and RX interfaces over process while margining voltage and temperature
Analyze serdes test results for compliance to the PCIe (PCI Special Interest Group) and Ethernet (IEEE) industry standards
Serdes TX compliance is performed using Keysight automated test applications that run on either a real-time or Sampling Oscilloscope
Serdes RX compliance is performed using Keysight BertScopes for injecting additive jitter and analyzing the serdes receiver's ability to tolerate it
Required Skills
Experience working with embedded systems to perform electrical experiments
Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
Most lab equipment is windows based with scripting
Knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components
Strong documentation and writing skills
Education: 2 year degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Years of Experience: 10years
Desired Skills:
Serdes transmitter jitter and high speed eye analysis skills
Experience with Python scripting
Experience with a Vector Network Analyzer for measuring passive channel RF characteristics and serdes device return loss
Education: 4 year degree in Computer Science or Engineering
