Summary:
The main function of an specialty analyst/developer is to develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs utilizing software packages considered.
A typical specialty analyst/developer is responsible for designing software or customizing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
Review and approve modifications to existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
Review and approve the design and development of software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
Counsel customers about software system design and maintenance.
Counsel systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Supervise the work of programmers, technologists and technicians and other engineering and scientific personnel.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required.
10+ years related experience required.

Engineer and support enterprise-level SSO solution, PingFederate
Experience and understanding with On-prem and Cloud IAM services Ping Identity and Azure authentication systems. Identity Federation protocols such as SAML2, WS-Federation, Kerberos, OAuth2 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
Onboard new applications that support SAML, or OAuth, into PingFederate/Azure AD
Support integration and authentication projects for 3rd party vendor solutions, SSO and cloud hosting.
Experience in in Azure conditional access
Collaborate with infrastructure, network and operations teams to provide architectural and technical guidance.
Lead continuous improvement efforts for Authentication technologies
Coordinate between infrastructure, application, and threat monitoring teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions.
Create and maintain system documentation for authentication technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
Develop, document, and enforce the standards, security procedures, and controls for access to ensure integrity of Ping Identity related systems.
Recommends solutions as appropriate for Ping Identity (PingFederate, PingAccess, PingOne Advanced Services, PingOne for Customers) and other authentication systems
Configure and analyze system performance using monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk
