Job Description

The Opportunity

Would you like to play a key role in strengthening NavVis' procurement and supply chain management?

As an Advanced Technical Supply Chain Specialist, you will participate in strategic decision-making and in turn play a crucial part in tackling exciting challenges and pushing NavVis supply chain management to the next level! As part of our Design & Engineering Team, taking care of the procurement of mechanical components, you will collaborate with all major stakeholders across all stages of our supply chain processes.

If you are someone with good technical understanding, who loves to work in a collaborative environment, and enjoys the idea of taking ownership, you could be the person we are looking for!

How you will make an impact

  • You will take over the crucial responsibility of managing the procurement of mechanical components for our mobile mapping system
  • You will independently conduct price negotiations with suppliers and have control of the process until the contract
  • You will expand our supplier portfolio and maintain existing supplier relationships
  • You will be the first point of contact for problem components in assembly
  • You will support project procurement in close coordination with our product development team
  • You will play an important role in engineering the right supply chain strategies to support our future growth
  • You will help with evaluating and developing our supplier base as well as take part in international supplier visits

What will help you succeed in the role

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in supply chain management and purchasing of mechanical engineering parts
  • Basic knowledge of typical mechanical manufacturing methods (milling, turning, injection moulding)
  • Basic knowledge of materials (metals, composites, plastics)
  • Fluent German, as the majority of our supplier base is German
  • Ability to read technical drawings is a plus

How we will know if we are a perfect match

Your recruiting partner for this role is Stavroula (she/her). You can expect to go through a screening call, and up to four rounds of interviews, where we would love to discover your passion and interests, introduce you to who we are and what drives us, and finally understand how we can potentially add value to each other's growth.

How we will keep you smiling

  • It's important to take a break from work! We offer 30 days of paid time off per year
  • We offer flexible working hours and a hybrid work setup, enabling you to plan your work around your life, and not your life around work!
  • We offer full visa and relocation support for international candidates
  • A competitive compensation package that values the skills and experience you bring
  • Up to 4000 EUR employee referral bonus
