Our customer specializes in travel experiences for the private and business market with destinations in Morocco, Andalusia and Portugal.
For the Barcelona office we are looking for a purchasing manager - travel services (hotels, car hire and activities). Through your work as a purchasing manager you will also improve the depth and quality of the product range
Tasks
- The desired profile has finished a bachelor degree in a relevant field and has at least 8+ years demonstrable work experience at a travel organization, Tour Operator or DMC.
- We are looking for candidates with knowledge of purchasing in the travel industry. Ideally you have worked in the MICE sector and are familiar with allotments, options, group reservations, booking platforms etc.
- Fluent in Dutch, English and Spanish are a must for our destinations and good knowledge of the French or Arabic language is an advantage.
Requirements
- We are looking for a great communicator, someone that is assertive and wants to build long term relationships with customers and providers alike.
- You are excellent in time management and are able to prioritize and internalize coordination.
- You are comfortable working efficiently with systems such as a CRM, Excel etc.
