Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience on Palo Alto Firewalls ASA/Cisco/Checkpoint/juniper/Fortinet.
Network Engineer provides support, evaluation, and research into the deployed Palo Alto Networks equipment's processes and problems. The technician will assume responsibility of the Palo Alto Networks products, such as firewalls, IPS/IDS, and VPN, among others
Hands-on experience on F5 Load balancing.
Proven knowledge of WAN, LAN , MAN ,Wireless and Security.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting Cisco routers & switches and firewalls
Experience with network architecture, engineering & migration activities
Good understanding of high availability fundamentals (HSRP and VRRP)
Reviews and helps identify and implement improvements to the provision of network service operations.
Implement and manage the deployment, and be accountable for the quality and effectiveness, of project
Configuring/Troubleshooting Routing protocols including but not limited to EIGRP, OSPF, BGP & layer 2 protocols
Identifies, designs, implements and maintains effective policies, procedures, tools, techniques and plans relating to network service level management activities.
Configuring/Troubleshooting LAN Switching VLAN, VTP, STP, EtherChannel, CoS, etc. Strong functional knowledge of TCP/IP required
Configuring/Troubleshooting Application protocols - HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSL etc.
Configuring/Troubleshooting Network Security - IPSec VPN, AAA Architecture, TACACS+, RADIUS
Configuring/Troubleshooting of Cisco 7k, 5k and 2k, 6500 and other Catalyst Series switches
Cisco Nexus 7K/5K/2K Series of switches
Configuring/Troubleshooting of Cisco Routers 3800, 3900, 7600 Series
Configuring/Troubleshooting Cisco IOS Software
Proven knowledge of DNS, IP, Firewalls, latency issues, WAN acceleration tools Implement security policies through ACL's and MAC level restrictions in LAN and WAN Cisco Security firewalls deployment including Cisco / Checkpoint /Fortinet/Juniper SRX is a must
Infoblox support and management is preferred.
Good Communications skills.
Candidates with troubleshooting and performance management of data infrastructure networks operations.
